Planning your first visit? Here are answers to a few of the questions we hear most often.
We are inside the historic Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment building at 2211 Seminole Drive, Studio 269. You’ll find us on the 2nd floor on the old Flying Monkey side of the building.
Lowe Mill can feel a little maze-like on your first visit, so we made a few super-short walk-through videos that show you exactly how to get to us.
Open Wednesday–Saturday, 11 AM–7 PM
Yes! We offer scheduled classes and workshops for people who want guided instruction and the chance to learn new techniques. You can see what’s coming up on our Classes & Workshops page.
If you don’t want to take a class, that’s exactly what the Art Café is for. Walk in, choose a creative experience from the menu, and we’ll set you up with the materials you need. Then you can create at your own pace—no formal class and no artistic experience required.
We don’t currently have a dedicated homeschool class series, but homeschool families are absolutely welcome here. We can help you find art supplies for lessons and projects, and the Art Café gives families a creative space to explore art together at their own pace.
There are also artists throughout Lowe Mill who offer homeschool-focused classes. One of the artists here at Lowe Mill is planning to begin homeschool sessions: Adrian Adams in January 2027, so be sure to follow us on Facebook or Instagram to be among the first to know when registration opens.
Not at all. Beginners are very welcome. The Art Café is designed so you can choose something that looks fun, try new materials, and make something without worrying about whether you’re doing it “right.” Come curious—we’ll help with the rest.
No reservation is required for a drop-in Art Café visit. You’re welcome to walk in, choose an experience, and create. If you already know when you’d like to come, you can also reserve a table in advance.
